Flashback

I paced about my room worriedly. Who the hell organizes a ball to break women.

"The royals," Arla replied boredly. She didn't even look the least bothered about the ball.

"How are you not even bothered?" I screeched, scattering my hair.

"Because I don't think this is the first time I'm hearing about this."

"Uh, what do you mean?" I frowned confused. I was certain this was the first time I was hearing this from the girls and so far, I haven't heard it from anyone else. So where else could Arla have heard it from?

"I can't really remember, it feels like a part of my memory is missing but I'm quite certain that this is not the first time I'm hearing about the ball. So unlike you, I'm neither scared or surprised," Arla replied, confusing me further.

"Is there a chance that I've heard of it too somewhere but then forgotten about it?" I thought, not having the slightest clue of where Arla got to know about the ball from.

"Yes, there is," she asserted, sounding certain.
