The Mysterious Letter

Turning away from the mirror, I looked out of the window and saw everywhere packed with people.

"It's just some ball, why is everywhere packed with this much people?" I frowned, not recognizing anyone. Their faces all looked foreign to me.

"Don't be stupid, the Prince is getting mated to either you or Mirabelle tonight, it is only right that they all avail themselves to pay rites to him," Arla explained and I scoffed.

"When are you going to let me out? I've been holed in here for days now and I need to stretch my legs or do you want me to die of paralysis?" Arla quirked, being sacarstic.

"If you die then I get to live a quiet life without your incessant nagging," I smirked, walking away from the window.

"You'd die of boredom without me. I'm literally the sauce that makes your life way more interesting than it is," she sassed and I scoffed.

"What's that?" I frowned, approaching the door. Beside the door laid a letter, lying on the floor. Someone must have slipped it in.
