Audrey appeared more anxious than before and this was the exact opposite of what Nero wanted to happen. To begin with, his sole purpose for speaking to Audrey was to make her feel better. All he wanted was for his master to confide in him in order to lighten her burden; in case the pent-up emotion was weighing her down. However, from the current looks of it, his probing questions only agitated the other party and made her more stressed than she already was. Nevertheless, their room was not in any way disappointing because they were given a huge space that could house more than a dozen people at once. As a matter of fact, the only reason the author chose to describe Audrey’s current situation as such was due to the lack of the usual misfortunes that used to plague the group’s every quest. So far, they have not yet met any mishap throughout their journey, and that was ever since they met Captain Styles. It was as if his presence alone could ward off any bad luck.
