I couldn't imagine how tough it was for Zelda to live her life the way she didn't want to.

I was moved to ask her what placed her in that situation, but I held myself back from doing it.

Zelda turned, staring at Lilith as she shrugged and nodded her head.

I instantly knew it was a tough one. I didn't mean to bring the pains of her past back to her, but I needed to know.

"I was ordered by the current Queen Mother to kill the wizard because I was his favorite, and when I refused, her youngest daughter manipulated the situation. Taking strands of my hair, she shape-shifted into me and went ahead to kill the wizard."
