Chapter 83: Last resort

~ Raven's POV~

Raven firmly tapped her knuckles against the enormous metal Gates of the Watchtower, anxiously awaiting a response. The rain was pouring heavily, and she was completely soaked, but she didn't mind her physical condition. All that mattered to her was finding a place where she could feel secure, and this particular place was the only she thought about coming to.

The incident earlier that afternoon with Katie had left Raven feeling unsure and unsafe within the confines of her own house. It made her wonder about the possibility of Katie planting or hiding other unknown objects in various corners of her home. After all, Katie had unrestricted access to every single part of the house.

Raven had thought about this all through the day, racking her brain for solutions. Ultimately, she found herself at the watchtower as a last resort, after finding out the distressing news that her granny was no longer present at the facility.

As she stood there, her gaze fell upon a man covere
