Elora's POV

Sitting quietly in the room all alone with my eyes fixed out of the window, I felt nothing but guilt, shame, regret, and pain.

If there was anything I didn't want, it was getting embarrassed right before everyone, including Alpha Killian.

We were expected to live a peaceful life, a life where no one outside our relationship knew what was going on, but here I was, ruining everything with my silly attitude.

Here I was, messing things up just because I felt he wasn't good enough for me and my pack.

“I should have just let it out, I should have just told him everything!” I mumbled as I pinched the tip of my nose, trying my best to stifle the frustration gnawing at my insides.

“Fuck!” I struck my hand on the table in front of me. There was a strong possibility that it could break if I kept hitting it the way I did. I was just confused and didn't know what to do.

“It's high time you start seeing me too as your best friend, Elora!”

Alpha Killian's final words to me before he lef
