MARK'S POV:

It felt as though the very walls of the cell were conspiring to crush me, their suffocating and oppressive presence closing in on all sides.

In a fit of overwhelming frustration and despair, I began to pound the unyielding concrete with my fists, each impact reverberating and amplifying the intensity of my emotions.
