Ava stood there, glaring at the letter as she could not utter a single word. She opened her mouth to talk, but no words came out of her mouth. She only took a deep breath as her eyes darted between the letter and Alpha Damon.

“How did he know what I was about to ask for?” She asked herself as she finally cleared her throat to talk.

“Uhm… How did you know what he wanted to ask for?” She asked, and he raised his head from the computer screen to give her a quiet look before he inhaled deeply to talk.

“I mean, it's only right that I allow you some time to go and take care of yourself and your growing baby.” He said, and she felt her heart skipped a beat. She still did not know what to say, and Alpha Damon tilted his head back to look at the computer screen to continue his work. Ava did not know what else to do, either to go back to her office or say thank you to Alpha Damon. She did not know what to do.

“You can go. I think that's all it is there anything else that you want?” He asked,
