James had introduced himself nicely and asked who I was, and when I lied through my teeth that I was Connor’s girlfriend, he offered to tell me embarrassing secrets about Connor, and I couldn’t pass that up no matter how hard I tried to hold myself.

Then Connor came in and started acting all jealous. And it made no sense to me.
