Jake and I sped through the woods, not once looking around to see the horrors, and just our wolf instincts taking us through the woods while our senses were assaulted with the horrid stink of rotting bodies and the loud cries of the monsters that lurked in the mist of tress.

My paws sunk into grime and what I had no idea of what I stepped into, but that mattered less as I hoped Naomi was still fast asleep where she was.

She couldn't know about this.

I just hoped we weren't too late as we stormed out of the woods and people, actual people and not almost monsters I thought were sent here froze as two big wolves, which were us, stormed in their mist.

A loud roar left my wolf's lips, as a show of superiority and they all scampered with their heels hitting the back of their heads, a sign that they recognised superiority, leaving a man who looked drunk, who laughed loudly at his mates that ran off.

"Cowards all of you!" He shook his fist at them and took a long swig of his bottle.
