Chapter One hundred and Seven

Allegra’s Pov

I wake up feeling relaxed, but I immediately notice the absence of warmth beside me. Sitting up, I stretch and wonder where Xander went, but before I can dwell on it, Silver bursts into the room, her demeanor urgent as she starts gathering her fighting gear. I jump up, ready to join her, assuming it's a training session.

"Silver, what's going on? Are we training immediately?" I ask, moving to gather my own gear.

She shakes her head, her expression grave. "No, Allegra. We just got a report that the eastern border has been attacked. We're going to join the Alpha and the other guards to help fight off the rogue wolves."
