Chapter 56_ Attack

Vanessa was inside her apartment, she had just finished to conclude her plans for her business. She finally decided to start a flower business.

The area she lived in was damp and not even a single flower grew there. She learned how to grow flowers from her grandmother so she was hoping to invest in that, it would also serve as a memory for her grandmother.

As Vanessa stood up to keep the jotter, she heard a brief knock on the door. She hesitated for a while before she went to open it. She wasn't expecting anyone.

Doctor Allen already told her that he wasn't coming that night so she wondered if it was Cia. Cia always informs her before she comes, and it was a Wednesday, she was always busy on Wednesdays.

Vanessa decided to stop speculating and just open the door to find out who it was. She placed her hand on the knob and turned it open.

Surprisingly, it was the person that she least expected to see in her apartment. The devil incarnate herself, Marina Brown.
