A BAD START

The twins were pumped up by Jimin’s words but they felt a little bit uncomfortable and Jimin could notice it very well.

“You know our father?” Jake mumbled, getting closer to Jimin as the five of them trudged along.

“More than you do,” Jimin smiled at him. “No offence but your father, Carrick, was a prick.”

“We hear that all the time,” Jake nodded appearing beside Jimin. “But at least he was a brave prick. The bravest prick in the whole of the Pack. Jimin turned to him and smiled at him, seeing what he was trying to do.

“I understand you like the word a lot young man,” Jimin laughed. “Don’t get me wrong though. Your father was a brave and we’ll respected man. We had our own personal issues but we had mutual respect for each other. He knew when his tenure had ended and he left without causing me any problems. Carrick was that simple.”

“But you don’t know when your tenure is over Jimin do you?” Jake asked staring at Jimin. “What are you doing among the Sentinels, Beta Jimin?” Jimin frow
