THE PROMISE

“Sir?” Steve stood up immediately. “What exactly do you want me to tell your daughter.”

“Good we are on the same page now,” Ghost smiled. “I don’t care what you want to tell her, as long as the two of you break up after your text.”

“Give me just a minute sir,” Steve said bringing out his phone from his pocket. Ghost smiled at him and sat down admiring the house and after about two minutes, Steve looked up at him.

“I’m done sir,” Steve smiled. “Take a look at it for yourself.”

Ghost stared at his phone screen and a frown creased across his face. “A little too harsh for my daughter but I think that is exactly what she needs at the moment. Thank you for your help. Here’s your money.”

Ghost dropped the suitcase in front of him and Steve stared at him, too scared to even touch the money. “Sir, are you sure about this?”

“Yes of course,” Ghost smiled. “You think it is too much for you?”

“It’s a lot sir,” Steve nodded. “I would remain indebted to you all my life.”

“All your life,” Ghost laugh
