Chapter 36 My Familiar Sawyer

Raija's pov

Sawyer was sitting up in his bed. His cat-like eyes lit up when he saw me coming into the room.

"Did you tell him what I discovered?" I asked Axel softly. He nodded and said, "He already was aware of your parentage."

"Really," I sighed in irritation.

Sitting on a chair near the bed I asked the werecat how he was doing. Lifting his arms out to show me his chest I could see that he had healed perfectly.

"I believe that I should be asking you that question, miss. I'm sure everything you have discovered about yourself is a big shock," he said with hesitation.

He patted my thigh and I attempted to smile. A little miffed about him not bothering to tell me beforehand I was a tad bitter.

"So you were already aware of my true parentage and never bothered mentioning it to me? I could have avoided so much had I known the truth!" I asserted with my eyes narrowed at him.
