“Nikki!” I hear a blood curdling scream tearing through the night, making me look towards the border to see Kitty on her knees with him in her arms, bleeding profusely. “Kitty!” I scream, seeing a small female grab her ripping her head to the side, when Alpha Benjamin thrust his sword through the attacking vampire. I take a breath of relief while dodging more attackers, feeling more pack tethers breaking as I watch more vampires falling. “It’s me, Raven, it’s Lily,” I whimper, staring up at her placing my hand on the side of her furry muzzle making her look into my eyes. Raven slowly lowers her hand and gently grabs my shoulders as her entire body shudders. “I know, I’m here,” I whisper, closing my eyes trying to ignore Clover, my near pixy like double, urging me to step away from Raven. ‘She’s lost, you can’t help her,’ Clover cries, trying to protect me as I wrap my arms around my twin in her even larger lycan form. I can’t help crying, feeling how lost she is in her pain from feeling the deaths of her mates and their bonds snap. “She will never be lost to me,” I argue with Clover, unwilling to give up on my twin knowing I’m the only one who can get through to her. ‘She doesn’t know who we are,’ Clover whimpers, pulling at her lavender colored hair, showing more fear than I’ve ever seen in her. “I’m right here Raven, I’m not leaving you,” I whisper, trying to calm her down, wishing I knew how to take her pain.
