“No, it's not. But the other one, I will tell you after you treat Selene and she's hale and healthy,” the Vampire King answered and I instantly frowned.

What is the suspense for? It better not be that I should marry him because I don't even see myself married to a Vampire not to talk of their King.

“Hope it's not among those things I said earlier?” I asked slowly since I couldn't stop myself from not asking no matter how scary he was trying to look. I need to know where I stand and if I could do it.

“No, it's not.” He answered and I heaved a deep breath.

“Well then, you got yourself a deal, ” I replied, throwing him a smile. Forgetting that he wanted me to be scared of him.

Yes, I'm definitely scared of him but I don't know what it is about these Kings that makes them think that others should be fearful of them.
