Eira’s POV

“Uhm, it's uhmm, ” I stuttered, but the Vampire King kept on looking at me patiently as if he had all the time in the world.

Is he angry or something? Why is he pokenosing?

“It's for my mother, ” I blurted out after a while, and the Vampire King burst out into laughter.

I frowned instantly, why is he laughing? Do I look like a joke to him?

“Why are you laughing?” I asked when I saw that he didn't plan on stopping any time soon and it was already getting on my nerves.

At the moment, he looked hypocritical and it was annoying.

“What? It bothers you?” He asked, his voice dripping with mockery and sarcasm.

What a spoiled Vampire King! So childish. I frowned and walked away from him. I’m just gonna ignore him.

“Stop right there,” I heard the Vampire King’s deep cold voice, but I didn't stop until after a few minutes. I halted my step, turning around to see a very cold expression and aura coming from the Vampire King.

“Do not, ever walk out of me,” He said slowly in my ears,
