Sixty - one

Eira’s POV

I quickly cleaned my cheeks. “Tell Amber I will be out soon, ” I replied and picked myself up from the floor.

That was when I remembered I hadn't been to Selene’s Palace and it was almost noon. She must have been worried that something had happened to me since I always go to her Palace every day.

After washing my face and looking at the mirror to ascertain that my eyes didn't look as swollen as I thought, I came out of my room.

“Miraculous healer, ” I heard Amber’s voice and I nodded at her.

“What is it? Is everything okay with the princess?”

“Yeah, the Princess is okay. She just asked of you because you haven't come around, so she asked me to come and escort you,” Amber replied and I nodded.

It was just as I had guessed. Selene was worried about me.
