I stopped abruptly as he asked me the question. What should I say? "My card was invalid, the gatekeeper told me that" I answered but he didn't bulge, he was still staring at me.

"Why didn't you call me?"

"I…I lost my phone" I stuttered as I glanced around. I can't tell him Chloe damaged my phone right? He chuckled before shaking his head and slowly, he walked towards a particular direction. I followed behind him timidly wondering why he suddenly went quiet.

"Are you that scared of Chloe?"

"Huh? Ch…Chloe?" I stuttered and he turned to me.

"Why didn't you tell me about Chloe? She stopped you at the gate, didn't she?" He asked and I nodded slowly. "Then why did you omit that part, common Camila, I wouldn't take side with the bad one"

"I'm sorry…" I mumbled. I felt the pull on my hand and looking up at him, he was staring intently at me.

"I consider you a friend. You should too Camila" he told me and I nodded gently. I considered him a friend a long time ago. He pulled me firmly
