Eliminating an obstacle

Declan held his head like he was in some sort of unexplainable pain. His eyes kept darting around the room as the followed Leila's movement. He hates it when she prances around with no caution.

Leila had barged in on him in the early hours of the morning when he was barely out of bed, to rant about something his ears weren't really catching.

“Can you tone down your movement Leila, it's making me feel dizzy." He said

Leila glared hard at me, ignoring him as she kept on. Her eyes kept searching her screen for a return message from Kira. It worried Leila that Kira might be slipping out of her hands due to the misunderstanding they had over Carl.

“I really hope Kira isn't having a second thought about trusting me.” She muttered

Declan sucked his teeth, “you still haven't told me what went down exactly and why you are so hell-bent on eliminating your mother's stepson.”

She turned her back against him to enable her catch her breath. Leila couldn't tell it to Declan what the
