"Why are you smiling huh? You are supposed to be my daughter." Dahlia scolded Cécilia.

"I am not smiling,mother. " Cécilia rolled back her head in laughter. She enjoyed Elsie's assertiveness.

Since she was already soaked, Elsie took a bath and got new underwear from Auntie Rina, who had sent a servant to buy them. She also changed into a red dress with a drawstring waistline. It was the only dress she had that could still fit.
