Chapter 26
Tank
After dinner I threw out the styrofoam containers and Lilly and I took Harley out for a walk in the backyard. The sun was just starting to set, painting the sky in oranges, pinks, purples and light shades of blue. I described it all for Lilly. From the fluffy clouds to the sinking sun. Before Lilly lost her vision I had never given thought to simple things like sunsets. Or the feel of a blanket. Or the smell of flowers. But every day with Lilly is a new adventure. Learning new things together and appreciating old things that I took for granted. I wish that it hadn’t taken Lilly’s accident to wake me up. But I am happy I am now. I made a vow to myself not to waste a single day with my girl.
After our walk Lilly took a shower first and now it is my turn. I left her resting in our bed for our first night in our house. I

Lilly Tonight is the night I have dreaded and looked forward to at the same time. My comeback concert. Tank has spent most of the day with the security team to go over last minute details. Tank After Lilly got situated in her room the guys started pouring in a few at a time. I filled everyone in on what the doctor said and told them what to expect. There was nothing left to do but wait and let Lilly rest. While we did that my brother’s and I made sure to accidentally leak information to Nessa so she could send it to Brit. Nessa did tell us that Brit is working with Constantine and they both plan to be here tonight to try and kidnap Lilly. Viper and I went over the plan one more time and even got Silvey involved. I didn’t want to involve her at first but after she heard what was going on with Lilly Silvey insisted on helping out. It seems she has become quite attached to Lilly and wanted to help out anyway she can. Silvey arranged for the security on the floor to be scarce so it looked like the floor was empty.
