Chapter 42 Small Talk

Loraine’s Pov

I watched as Aaron reluctantly accepted me, having Klein to protect me if he wasn’t there. I helplessly watched him glare at Klein.

“If you dare to make a move on someone you shouldn’t, you’ll know your fate, right?” He coldly said while looking at Klein as if he would bare his claws and teeth right now.

Klein remained smiling and he nodded his head. “I’ll do everything to protect her from your fiancée and your beloved family.”

“You!” Aaron angrily glared at him, and gritting his teeth, suddenly regretting that he couldn't punch Klein since I had told him that he shouldn’t hurt him. He added, “You shouldn’t be thankful that I couldn’t kill you right here and now.”

Klein innocently looked at him. “But what I said was true? Where was I wrong?”

Seeing that Aaron was going to burst from anger, I helplessly stopped them from fighting.
