Chapter 52 - Miracles

"Oh my. Shalom, she's beautiful." My mother says tears streaming down her. She's holding her granddaughter. I look at her crying too, I can't believe I had a baby five hours ago. My baby girl is here. "She's so quiet too." She says when my daughter coos in her arms. 

I'm a few feet away from her lying in the hospital bed. Kane is sitting up on a sofa next to my mother and he's watching her too. He has this proud look on his face. 

"She's perfect, she looks just like her mother," Kane says smiling and tears stream down his face too. This is so emotional. 

"I think she looks like you," I say looking lovingly at him. I think she is the spitting image of her father. She has his nose, his eyes and she has his smile. After she was born she was screaming letting anyone who would listen that she was here. I thought she would never calm down but when the nurse placed her in my arms she went silent immediately.
