Thirty Four

By the time I wake up, it is at four a.m. and Kelly is still asleep but you can hear her mumble and cry from time to time. I watch her for about five minutes as I try whispering soothing words.

That is until she starts crying, calling Sean's name to help her. Sean told me he had found her in a room with torn clothes and had to try to convince her that he's was there to protect her. I rub her back soothingly until she calms down and that is when I get up and start preparing for the day.

Kelly and I will be going to my house where I'll take care of her but first, I have to take her to the hospital to have the tests needed as suggested by the doctor.

I go to Aiden's room and get into the warm shower after brushing my teeth. Ten minutes later, I'm done. Feeling fresher and livelier.
