Chapter 3

A special dungeon was not the type of liberation I was looking forward to experience.

If there was anything that I wanted so badly, it was food, water, and a chance to see my parents again.

Gord made me sing praises in honor of the Lycan king, and each time I missed a verse, he made sure to strike me with a wooden stick on the head just to make it clear to me that I wasn't going to mess around with the name of the Lycan King.

By afternoon, I was already looking like a famished goat who needed to be freed from the shackles that I had gotten myself into.

"What is that your stupid name again?" Gord asked in a way that made me murmur.

"Angelina!"

Gord took a quick step forward, before moving backwards and observing the crossed lines on my face. From the way he stared at me, I could sense a bit of desire within him. Like, he wanted me for himself. Like, he wanted to have all of me just for himself.

"I am going to get some water for you to drink," Gord informed me. "I am not doing this because I pity you. That is totally not true. I am going to get you some water because I don't want the King's meat for the night to be thin and weary."

I watched as Gord left me to be alone. And, for a single moment, I wished that Lydia was here with me. Strangely, I found myself missing the voice of the brutally ill-mannered girl.

I could hear Lydia's voice in my head, as if she was waiting to tell me things about her life that I was in no way interested in listening or knowing about.

"Here is the water I have brought for you," Gord informed me before dropping a bottle of water close to me.

I stretched to reach the bottle of water, but it was too far away for me to reach. Actually, there was no way I could reach the bottle of the water. It was way too help.

"It is too far," I complained to Gord.

He just hissed and turned to his side as if he was waiting for someone to come inside the room and start complaining about how good he was treating me when it was the total opposite.

"The bottle of water is too far from me," I complained again, looking at him with the hope that he was going to listen to my complains and help me out.

Instead, Gord remained fixed in his position, muttering words to himself that only him could clearly understand.

Finally, I gave up my attempt to reach the bottle of water and just sat down on the floor inside the dungeon like a defeated wild wolf who had no fight left within her.

"Drink up!" Gord said, throwing the bottle of water in my direction. "Be quick, lazy girl. Drink up before I change my mind."

*

An hour later, I was presented to the Lycan king with his two sons sitting at both of his sides. I could see the huge proud smile on the Lycan King's face as he informed his sons that I was his reward for being a good king.

As the Lycan king told his sons about his latest conquest which involved raiding my village and killing as much people as he could, I felt hate boil inside of me. I felt great boil inside of me to a point that all I wanted to do was to walk towards the Lycan King and stab him on the neck until he kept his mouth shut for good.

"I am going to have her in my bed tonight," the Lycan King said with his mind clouded with lust.

I looked at myself, and then I looked at the Lycan King as I wondered if I was just a piece of meat for someone like the Lycan king to devour and treat with no respect.

"What of our mother," Ariel, the first son of the Lycan King spoke out. "Are you going to still disrespect her as you have been doing for the past few months by sleeping around with ungodly women who look like whores?"

The Lycan king laughed out loudly as he looked at the courage in the eyes of his son. I could sense that the Lycan King was thinking of how he was going to respond to his son. I could sense the tension going on between the two of them. I could sense all the feeling as I stood in one spot, wondering when I would be told to go back home.

"Your mother is the love of my life," the Lycan king informed his sons. "But, that does not mean, I cannot penetrate other women and spread my gospel. After all, I am the Lycan king, and no one can move faster than me. There is no one in this kingdom who can run faster than me."

I watched as the Lycan king moved from one end of the large private room to another in less than a second. I had never seen anything like that in my life. I had never seen a human being in human form moved from one point of a room to another in less than a second. The Lycan king was indeed bigger and faster than a normal werewolf.

"I support my brother, Ariel," the Lycan King's seeing son, Darius said. "You cannot disrespect my mother in such a way."

The Lycan king laughed and moved to where there was a large tray filled with lots of fruits. He picked up a raspberry and swallowed it before he proceeded to face his younger son.

"I want you..." the Lycan king paused as he struggled to catch his breath. "I... want..."

The Lycan king fell down on the ground in one loud thud. There was confusion in the private room as everyone wondered what had happened to him.

"Give him some space," Gord yelled as he moved closer to check the Lycan King's pulse.
