I needed not to be told that there was trouble in paradise. Just what he was up to, I had no idea.

Suddenly, he grabbed my hands and swayed me slightly across the road. "I believe, that road leads to your house? Go away and don't torment me with your unkind words," he began walking back to his cart after he was through with his speech.

'What a relief!' I told myself. I had thought mine was over perhaps, he was going to skin me alive. Upon discovering he was not going to harm me, I hit him hard with another line of my sentence. "Look who is talking, I should be the one to tell you that, stop tormenting my life. I never said anything against you ever since our paths crossed. Maybe, you should do a thorough check to see for yourself?"

He had walked more than half to his cart when he heard my words. He turned around to take yet another look at me. It was a brief one. Without wasting time, he moved into his cart again and tried to make his horses move nevertheless, the two animals remaine
