While the ground shook every once in a while, and loud and shrill shrieks could be heard filling the forest, Carter was anxiously scanning his surroundings. It all started when Suna told him via telepathy that she would be sending something in his way. But the problem was, he missed the chance to ask what it really was. He remembered guessing whether it was an enemy or not, but she just told him not to worry.

Which made him even frantic.

Carter is in no way prominent in fighting, nor even guarding, so he was sure that this wasn’t a great idea, for whatever thing one of his benefactors asked to keep an eye on. However, he was also not that prominent in magic to be able to bridge a telepathic communication with Suna to respond to her.
