In an instant, the two of us stayed still, patiently checking Carter.

“…He really is walking away from us.” I repeated, while turning behind my shoulders to look at Clairmont. The glinting hue of deep gold in his eyes indicated the activation of his power, and by his nodding, he seemed to feel the same.

I returned my focus to my radar. The Carter in my radar looked more like a circular dot tinted in light green, meaning that he’s an ally. Otherwise, all the dots in my radar, which represents other existence, is either white, for neutral creep or weak enemy, or red, representing an existence of severe hostility.

For the time being, I zoomed in my radar to see Carter up close. His dot turned into the close-up view of him walking through the forest, like a CCTV camera or something. His transcend through the forest looked unstable. Like he was walking without a destination
