ALANA POV

It was a hot, sunny day. The weather outside was the most intense I had ever experienced. The relentless sun scorched the earth, leaving me exhausted and devoid of energy. I sought comfort in the bathroom, where the cool water rejuvenated my skin and calmed my senses.

Once I was done, I wrapped a towel around my body, feeling its softness against my damp skin, with another over my hair that was still dripping wet. It was the only thing that separated me from the harsh reality outside.

I stepped out of the bathroom, hoping to find some peace in the bedroom. But as soon as I opened the door, I was confronted by an unexpected sight.

Kai was standing there, his tall figure blocking the doorway. He looked at me with a piercing gaze, making me feel exposed and vulnerable.

I gasped, "Kai? What are you doing here?" I asked, feeling panicked and embarrassed.

Talk about egoist! Alana has it in spades. She didn’t want him in their lives. When will she stop lying. Kai has abased himself since his initial acts of jumping to conclusions. To the author: Does she bear any responsibility? I’ll just be quiet as I see how this ends.

Eh, they’re both idiots. She is the one who refused to go back with Kai and refused their kids to go see him . . . He’s the idiot for not ever even trying to visit his kids in 16 years.

Thought for a moment she would finally gave in to him after sleeping with him … but glad she didn’t . He wasn’t successful persuading his sons so he probably thought if he was successful with their mother , then they would not leave him and agreed to be his heirs
