Kai's POV

As the first light of dawn pierced the horizon, I found myself standing amidst a sea of watchful eyes. Across from me stood Klaus, my opponent, his face a hardened mask of defiance.

A sneer curled his lips, his voice dripping with contempt. "You think you can challenge me, brother?’ he taunted. “You are nothing more than a weakling." He spat.

“Scared you will lose?” I mocked.

Klaus grinned back, but his grin was malicious. Slowly, he shook his head. “No, I don’t mind losing. I fucking kill, and you, little brother, will not survive. I will make sure of it!”

I clenched my itching hands into fists as the air was heavy with anticipation. Klaus and I, in our human forms, began to square off. Slowly, we began to circle each other as more pack members seemed to gather around us. The sun had completely risen at this point, and it was a broad day.
