Decide To Step Down

Turning to Brad, I met his gaze. His expression was a mix of hope and nerves, a mirror of my own conflicted emotions.

A flood of memories rushed back – the moments I had lived without him, the support he had offered, and the easy respect that had finally formed between us.

Stepping closer to him, I studied his face, searching for answers. "Is this true?" I asked, my voice a mixture of curiosity and hesitation.

Just like your current pack. I believe you have done a lot of good for them, and you can leave them to find their own way now.”
