The next morning, a loud pounding at my door woke me up, and I hurried over to open it, wondering who it was. I had slept in, so the first rays of sunlight were flooding into the room, but I wasn't expecting visitors.

I was shocked to find that at my door stood Kimora and a very flustered Margot, who looked sheepish, like she had done something wrong.

Crossing my arms over my chest and walking away from the pair, I made my way to the sitting room and sat on one of the stools. “This had better be good, waking me up at this time of day.”

“Oh, it's good alright,” sneered Kimora, irritation barely concealed. Looking at Margot, I watched as she held a finger to her lips in a bid to ask me to keep quiet.

Catching her in the corner of her eyes, Kimora shot her with a leveling look, and poor Margot looked away from me and staed instead at her palms folded into her laps instead.

“So when were you going to tell me that this douchebag was married?” asked Kimora, frowning.
