That's The Spirit

I had already met Brad during my last trip to the pack. He had already seen me, and had even been kinder towards me, out of respect for my new strength, but I had not seen Ethan, and everyone had seemed to be away when I made that trip over. Truthfully, Brad had informed me that the pack was fresh after an attack, so no one would be around, but I had not expected Ethan’s hostility.

Yet, on a second thought, the last trip I had made to the pack, I had been alone, so it was more likely inconcspicuous. Today, we were averaging 40 people. Ethan had never been the most understanding person, so any time taken to explain to him that we were here to help his pack would have fallen on deaf ears, and I did not have any of the strength required to engage in a long argument that would still end up with me in brad’s presence once again.
