A Dream

The next morning, the weight of the dream still clung to me like a dark shadow. I had fallen back into a fitful sleep with thoughts of the pack’s ruin on my mind again.

As the sun began to rise, casting a warm golden glow over the pack territory, I knew that I needed to speak to someone about this. I needed to understand the meaning behind the dream, what those flames meant and if there was any truth to the destruction I had seen in my dream.

Determined to find some clarity, I headed over to Margot's place. Margot, who was one of the more wise and enigmatic members of the pack, had gone along with me to the war. Besides that, she had told me of a similar dream, and since she had always been in tune with the supernatural and the mysteries beyond our understanding she was the one I knew I needed to call.
