Delilah's POV:

Turning around, I sprinted through the woods and pondered over what to do next. Should I go to the police? Even the thought was laughable. Should I go to the Supernatural Council? But I had no address or number. Should I go to Bianca and tell her that her mate is in danger? But the way she treated Dorian made me doubt if she would even care.

I was on the verge of going mad. Never before in my life had I felt so helpless. I despised myself for leaving Dorian alone with those bloodthirsty monsters. Wiping away the angry tears, I turned toward the human residential area and entered the first mart my eyes landed on.

I went straight to the counter and rushed out, "Can I make a phone call, please? It's urgent."

Maybe it was my condition or desperation but the lady nodded hastily before turning the phone in my direction. I dialed the only person left who would never be deterred from helping me and waited impatiently. The lady walked away in order to give me some privacy and
