In Darkness

Selene's POV.

When I finally opened my eyes, it was because of the sounds of foots around the woods, the sun was almost up in the air as the heat burned against my skin and the small stones and sand which piece into my naked flesh.

I was awake now but I couldn't feel anything. The sound of foots running closer did nothing to change my mood as their scent filled my nostrils, along with the familiar scents was my father and I knew what came next.

But I did nothing to acknowledge their presence as they finally reached me.

My father's grey eyes came in view.

He was just like I had left him, except the morning beard that filled his jaws.

His black hair had grown longer too, falling over his shoulders.

His eyes were just as cold but this time, they were filled with amusement, and his lips turned into a smirk as he looked down at me.
