Thirty five

“Don’t worry. I know you will find someone for yourself. You’re beautiful.” Emma said but Rachel didn’t believe it.

The bell rang and then Rachel said. “I have to go to maths now to submit some early assignments. See you next period? Love you.”

Then she left.

Rachel turned her books in her arms as she went down the hall.

She was going on her way when she came crashing into a very large body.

Her books fell to the floor.

“I’m so sorry.” A male voice apologized. “I get so clumsy a lot.

“It’s fine.” Rachel said as she bent down to pick the books.

But whoever it was already helping her pick up her books.

She looked up and for the first time in her life, she fell in love.

He had green eyes and dark hair. His face looked like they had been carved by the goddess herself.

He gathered the books and gave her.

“I’m sorry I get clumsy sometimes.” He apologized with a laugh. “Gosh I’m saying that again.”

She nodded completely unable to speak.

“Uhmmm I’m Luke.” He said extending his hand.
