He was fine this morning. Totally healthy. He’s not one to fall sick under the weather as he’s an Alpha wolf. Alpha wolves have strong immunity.

I purse my lips. Alpha Nova is right. It has to be the curse’s effect.

I gently hold Maria’s arm. “Don’t worry. Dad will be fine. I’ll call a witch tomorrow.”

“Huh? A witch?” She frowns at me.

I nod. “Yes. I’ll explain everything to you. But we need to act fast.”

The next day, we get a witch to do a purification ritual on the house.

“The curse is strong in the house. All I can do is wipe it away temporarily.” Naira looks at me as she pulls out a spray bottle from her canvas bag. “Keep in mind that it can come back, so the purification ritual won’t give you a hundred percent results.” The witch explains, and I notice the piercing on her lower lip.

She does the ritual and an hour later, she hands me the spray bottle. “Whenever the curse affects someone in the house, spray it on that person. It has moonsilver water, so it should work.” Sh
