Chapter 44: RUNNING BACK TO YOU

I drive back to my house at record speed. As soon as I walk in, I head straight to my room and just start throwing clothes and toiletries into my box, I don't really care if I forget anything, whatever I don't take I can get when I arrive there. All that matters is that I get to Lena.

I zip up the bag, sling it over my shoulder and sprint out of the house. I get into my car and back out of my driveway. I started driving to the airport and I called Nikki.

"Nikki, have you called the pilot? Is he ready?"

"Yes sir he's ready but there's a problem."

"What problem?"

"Well seeing as we were supposed to be in London for a week, the technicians decided to do their monthly maintenance on the jet. But I talked to them and told them this was an emergency so they said we would be able to take off in five hours."
