After the conference call, I was emotionally spent. I asked Julian if I could have the room that I had stayed in before and take a rest. I just need some me time and a good nap. After greeting and hugging Julian’s parents, the king and queen, I go to my room. This will be my sanctuary for now. I had to convince Councilman Bari to let me stay with the Coven. They wanted to move me to another safe house ran by the council, but I feel safest here. I trust Julian and his family more than anyone outside of my Circle and Alpha Clark. It has been over a week since the incident happened, and my mate left me. Seleste has refused to speak with me since the day I saw her on the videoconference. I think she has blocked my number from her phone. No one will tell me where she is or how she is doing. Onyx won’t even talk to me. He is mad that I hurt his mate. Staying away from my mate over this past week was the hardest thing I ever had to do. I pretty much avoided everyone who loves me. I had to tell Prince Julian and Violetta the truth, since I can’t avoid them.
