Ella's POV

I hissed first before going into a battle stance as I saw the owner of the offending voice. I saw the hideous mask first—which was all I needed to see to get me mad—before seeing the annoying arrogant swag in his gait.

A bloody rogue.

I growled loudly, feeling Lucy begging to be out. Despite my loud growls in my head, I could still hear the loud growls coming from the throats of the other wolves. I wasn't the only one fueled by hatred and anger at the moment.

I doubted that the rogue was alone. As villainous as the rogues were, they were cowards who wouldn't fight a battle that they weren't sure they could win. They wouldn't fight alone and if they had to do, they wouldn't a group. They also made use of surprise to win their opponents.

Fine, we were surprised but that didn't mean our surprise would stay for long to enable us to be defeated. We were much and I doubted that he was alone and crazy enough to fight us and hope he would win.
