72. Thank Goodness

Kevin's POV

The men in wolf forms glanced at me and nodded, surrounding us as they fought off the standing men.

"After me, Ella and Dalsa." I said and crawled down the tunnel.

I led the way, knowing Liam would keep the men away from us and hoped Ella didn't stay to fight.

"Go, Dalsa." I heard Ella said and pushed the angel down the tunnel.

I shook my head as I sensed the angel's scent behind me. As usual, Ella chose to be selfless and chose others over herself. She was braver than any female that I knew.

Ella was right behind Dalsa and it wasn't until I sensed her that I was finally at peace. Thank goodness she finally stopped worrying me. She was going to be the death of me. I had no doubt she was going to give me grey hairs.

I sensed Loki behind me and was relieved someone was watching her back. He had changed into his human form.

"Let's keep crawling. We will be out soon." I said, moving at a rapid rate and grateful the tunnel was wide enough to allow that.
