Chapter forty two

I followed them as Leonardo continued to drag her, but then I was very eager to see where this was headed.

He dragged her, and they got to the throne room. He pushed her to the floor, and she cried out in pain as she fell to the ground, injuring her legs.

I smiled as I stood at the door, watching the drama unfold. "Alpha, believe me, I didn’t say anything to her. I…" Before she could even complete her statement, he grabbed her by the hair, bending as his face grew closer to hers, and I clenched my fists.

Wasn’t he supposed to be punishing her? What was he doing now? I stood at the corner. Something in me wanted to believe that he had a greater punishment for her, so I just stood there and watched what he did.

It was really annoying the hell out of me that he was being that close to her, but then I just had to stay put; I didn’t have to start showing my jealous side. Not now at least.
