CHAPTER 68: A strange man

Callista’s POV~~

“Did you think that thing you are holding can harm me in any way?” The voice, deep and menacing, sent a chill down my spine as my whole body went numb with fear. Every creak and whisper in the night echoed through my bones as dread skittered down my spine.

I struggled to break free from his tight killing grip, but it seems to be more powerful than I am. He was just holding my wrist with one of his hands, and I couldn't get free from his grip. I struggled hard, but it was fruitless.
