I marched into my chamber in fury, my palm hurled into a painful fist.

Everything happened so fast, It felt like an illusion.

Why would Elena choose to shatter my heart in the most brutal way? I have done nothing but treat her well, shower her with so much affection, and reciprocated her love. She had absolutely no reason to be involved in such crime.

I badly wanted to believe that she was innocent but the evidence was right there, and there were witnesses all over as well.
