Elizabeth’s POV

There was a flood in my chest.

It was like an overflowing river or a swollen flower.

“Hogan kissed me,” I said while touching my lips.

I am still here, sitting on the ground while staring at nothing.

“Why did he do that?”

He said ‘Shut it’. Did he do that because I was noisy?

Because he wanted to shut me up?

“Haa. I feel dizzy. I should go inside and rest.”

With my wobbly knees, I stood up. I picked up my bow and the arrow Hogan made for me.

When I turned to the house, my face went hot.

“But if I go inside, I will meet Hogan.”

That would be awkward. How can I face him after that kiss?
