"LET. ME. GO!" I attached my arm away from the Beta's grip, but it was tight. He was going to leave a bruise, although he wasn't rough. He led firmly a good distance away from the hospital before he released me.

"You were going to start talking out of turn," He said.

"You." I planted a finger on his chest and frowned. "You didn't tell him, did you?"

He rubbed his face and looked away. "I haven't found an appropriate time."

"That's..." Bullshit! I scoffed and turned away. "So am I just supposed to sit back and let them ruin my reputation?" I asked.

"No one is going to ruin your reputation," He said calmly. "But I need you to control yourself."

I scoffed again. If anyone here needs self-control, it's definitely not me.

"Is there anything else you want to tell me?" Jones asked.

I looked at him. I hadn't told anyone about the meeting I saw between Beth and Marcus a few nights ago.

"Hoe did you know about the Luna and the doctor?" He asked like he could read my though
