Astra’s POV

I have never been so shaken like the way I was with what happened at the ball, I had expected everything but I haven’t expected someone to die and the blame will almost be pushed on me. My hands were still quivering and it felt like my body doesn’t want to relax even after alpha Ramsey showed her believes me.

An investigation was going on and I was in my room, laying in my bed, and found nothing fun to go out to, I wanted Alpha Ramsey to find the culprit as soon as possible so that I can be free and people can stop laying accusing gazes on me, the word has spread fast across the whole pack and people are busy murmuring and talking about it.

I had so many regrets about that night, maybe I shouldn’t have gone out for the ball or maybe I should have run away when alpha Ramsey mentioned Vera, I don’t know what to think about anymore but I just wished I never had an encounter with Simon.
